The November Cardinals Newsletter
The month November is one of our busiest and the most interesting month. We are reading books about how seasons change and the life cycle
of pumpkins--as they would all have carved a few for Halloween and will carve a few more for Thanksgiving (pumpkin pies, yummm).
We collected leaves from our playground that were in different shades of fall colors. It was also an opportunity to learn the parts of a leaf, learn different leaf shapes and recognize what tree they are from.
We learned that Fall is also called Autumn and it is the end of Monsoon (rainy season) in many countries.
We sang a few Halloween songs, discussed costumes, arguments about “are monsters real?” :)
”It's cold!!”, “It's not cold”, “ jacket or no jacket” …......
Everyone’s talking about Thanksgiving. The children who have experienced our previous year's celebration are very excited and are wanting to know about projects, making decorations for the 'Grandparents Luncheon and so on.
And finally we would like to thank Norah's parents for coming in and talking about all different kinds of pollutants and what we can do to keep our environment clean. The children were excited to prepare their own home made, environment friendly cleaning solution with fully decorated spray bottles.
• Conferences- 16th and 17th of November
• Thanksgiving Luncheon (bring your grandparents day)- Nov 22nd . Please sign-up and it would be great if your child left with their grandparents or relatives and have some 'together time'.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING from all of us,
