
The Fine Arts are explored throughout the Montessori curriculum at every level from toddler through middle school. Toddlers explore a variety of techniques including watercolor and collage. In the primary classrooms these activities are expanded through the addition of the art folders. Lower elementary students explore how art is utilized to communicate ideas and concepts visually. Fine arts lessons in upper elementary and middle school delve into artists, art history, and the principles of design.
Trayce Marino, along with being the Head of School, teaches fine arts at the upper elementary and middle school level. Trayce holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Syracuse University and a Masters of Education from Loyola University in Maryland. She truly enjoys the time spent sharing her passion for art with the students.
