Physical Education
The gymnasium space is enjoyed by all the children. It is a place where they play basketball, race, tumble, shake a parachute, and kick around a ball. Once the children reach elementary age they participate in weekly physical education classes including volleyball, softball, tennis, soccer, basketball, and track.

Basketball
For six weeks in January and February the school runs a basketball program after school for ages 4 – 12 in our gymnasium. Teams meet once a week for practice and games. All players receive coaching in basketball geared toward his/her level of play along with a medal or trophy at the end of the session. The goal of the program is to have fun, learn about the game of basketball, and to practice teamwork and sportsmanship. The MSAE basketball program is open to both MSAE families as well as families in the community.
